On the afternoon of January 12th, the Hunan Battery Industry Association held its inaugural meeting. The leaders of relevant departments such as the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Provincial Energy Bureau, and the Changsha Science and Technology Bureau, as well as representatives of nearly 100 battery industry chain enterprises, industry experts, affiliated industry associations, and financial institutions, gathered at the Ningxiang High tech Zone Management Committee to witness a crucial moment in the development of the energy storage industry in the province.
At the scene, Chen Liquan, an academician of the CAE Member and a researcher of the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Li Yadong, an academician of the CAS Member and a professor of Tsinghua University, Chen Jun, an academician of the CAS Member and vice president of Nankai University, and Wu Feng, an academician of the CAE Member and a professor of Beijing University of Technology, were employed as consultants of the Association.
Professor Tang Yougen, Director of the Hunan Provincial Key Laboratory of Chemical Power at Central South University, was elected as the President of the Association. Zhu Aiping, Secretary General of the Changsha Advanced Battery Materials and Battery Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the Battery Alliance), was elected as the Secretary General of the Association. Wang Xianyou, a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Dean of the Graduate School of Xiangtan University, was elected as the Chairman of the Expert Committee of the Association.
Tang Yougen said that the work of the association will take "new energy, new power, and new development" as the main line, continuously enhancing the cohesion and appeal of the association, strengthening industry coordination, establishing communication and service bridges between enterprises and the government, integrating resource service enterprises, technology leading enterprises, and helping to promote the development of energy storage industry chain enterprises in the province.
The Hunan Battery Industry Association was founded by nine units, including the Changsha Advanced Battery Materials and Battery Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance and Hunan Boltpower New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. There are currently 93 member units of the association, covering 11 cities and prefectures such as Changsha, Zhuzhou, Xiangtan, Yongzhou, and Yueyang. The Ningxiang High tech Industrial Development Zone serves as a permanent support unit for the association. The expert committee of the association almost includes 53 experts from universities, research institutions, and enterprises across the province in the fields of lithium-ion batteries, fuel cells, sodium ion batteries, solar cells, and other fields.
The conference was successfully held, and Liu Yankai, the chairman of Boltpower Group, was invited to attend and elected as the first executive president of the association.

As a representative of the Boltpower, we have been deeply engaged in the battery and energy storage industry for 13 years. I will focus on the battery industry as a lifelong profession and strive for it, and continue to lead all Boltpower to continuously deepen their cultivation, breakthroughs, and achieve new results in this field.
At the same time, I also hope to work alongside more people with a strong sense of career and social responsibility. No matter which industry, as long as we regard it as a great cause that can be dedicated, solve pain points for society, and improve the lives of the general public, we will pour our love and emotions into it. Any industry requires a large number of ambitious, passionate, and compassionate people to contribute and give.
